Services

All of our packages include a bath with high ingredient and bio-degradable products, blow out, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and teeth cleaning.  Please read our services, this helps us understand each other and makes check in a little more smooth.

Our prices run a bit different than most salons.  We charge by the hour.  Our hourly rate is $80 an hour and since it’s a time based service, everything your dog needs to stay healthy is included in the service.  Typically a dog under 20 pounds will need a one hour time slot. Temperament, coat condition, and/or complexity of services will add additional time need to complete the services and therefore, will make the price go up.  This allows for a more accurate price range during check in, as we can usually tell how long a service will be needed.  A matted dog will have additional matted time blocks added, depending on level of matting.  Please feel free to ask any questions! Please note that this is a request and you’ll need to be approved to secure an appointment with us. All new clients will need to fill out our New Client Application so we can put you in the system and get to you easier and faster. >HERE< We are currently not taking any new clients as our books have closed during this time.

We accept multiple forms of payment: Cash, Credit Card, Paypal, Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Wallet

Having vaccinations are law, so we do not require proof. Owner is liable for any health issues that may arise due to not being properly vaccinated.

Pup Grooming Services

Bath

This is a package made for the basic grooming needs such as the bath and small maintenance up keep. De-shedding treatment is a process and will take a larger time slot. You can anticipate an additional 30 minutes to be added on.

Hair Cut

This covers everything you need to be back in tip top shape. Quality products to keep skin and coat healthy while finishing it off with a fabulous hair cut that is realistic for that pup’s lifestyle. Pictures of ideas are always welcomed.

Hand Stripping

For dogs with a wire coat, we can strip out coat instead of having clipped and snipped. Please ask about this service as it is not for everyone. Coats that need repairing from clipping will take additional time and have more frequent visits.

$110/hr.

Did you know that Dognormous teaches? Students are often looking for dogs to perfect their skills. This gives a great opprotunity to not only have an economy groom, but to get you in faster and allow groomers to hone their skills. All grooms are looked over by a Master Groomer, and you get a little thank you discount.

For specialty grooms, you can always check the availability of our Master Groomer. Hourly rates are a little different and availability is tight.

Skin Therapies

Our Certified Aestheticians have dedicated time in learning about protecting and helping skin stay healthy! Through a stringent training program, we have taken the time to learn the Science of Skin as well as applications in a medical environment which includes not only skin and hair health but also how to help skin conditions, medical & dermatological terminology, proper record keeping and creating working relationships with veterinarians. We have a few therapies that you can add onto a grooming service to help aid some ailments. Our high end, green friendly products work into the coat and skin, giving a little extra assistance. Add on prices will vary depending on severity and size as each of these services require an application time to allow them to help out their condition. Most therapies need continual application and may need to consider a more frequent bathing schedule. Talk to your groomer about our therapy options.

Coaching

Sometimes we need a little help from our peers to navigate the complexities of our professions and passions. Nicole offers a variety of different versions of coaching tailored to fit individual needs. This could be one-on-one sessions, engaging group seminars and workshops, or even something a bit more virtual for added convenience. With her extensive experience both in the show ring and on the competition floor, along with many years dedicated to grooming, she is exceptionally well versed in the important topics of grooming and care for dogs. Since she proudly achieved her title as a professional groomer in 2011, Nicole has relentlessly pursued further education and skill enhancement in her field. As a certified master groomer recognized by both the National Dog Groomers Association and the American Kennel Club, along with being a certified aesthetician, she was nominated as Up & Coming Groomer of the Year in 2017 and has consistently been ranked in the top 15 from 2019 to 2025. This wealth of experience makes her well-equipped to guide you through your own grooming journey. Additionally, Nicole is a brand ambassador for Geib Buttercut Shears, working closely with them to ensure the grooming industry is well-supported with the right tools and knowledge about their products. While she specializes in Terriers and Cocker Spaniels, her proficiency extends to many other recognized AKC breeds, making her a versatile resource for dog grooming expertise. If you’re looking to have an AKC evaluation done and need to pay a certifying fee, please visit the store to make payment.

Workshops & Seminars

Workshops offer a valuable opportunity to bring Nicole to your salon for group instruction tailored to specific needs and abilities. These sessions can be customized for participants, ensuring that everyone gets the most out of their experience. For those interested in an extensive learning experience, multiple days can be scheduled to create an enriching weekend.

The rates provided are based on single-day workshops and represent the base costs. Please note that larger groups, specifically those of 15 participants or more, may incur additional fees. If dogs are required for the workshop, this can also affect pricing. Additionally, the quoted prices do not cover travel and lodging expenses unless your location falls within the local radius, which is defined as a two-hour drive from Nicole's primary salon in Wheaton.
